414276_468212156538841_689311249_o Toys are one of the best friends of our children, thanks to them they imagine, explorer, have a great time and improve their motors skills. Keeping toys clean, fully assembled, and in a good condition are important for children’s safety. So we need your help to do our Stocktake. You may get a surprise. The 2013 Stocktake will be held on 6 May from 9am to 4pm and the roster is now available in our Toy Library or you can ask us for more information by email. The available rostered time slots are: 9:00 am – 12:00 noon 11:00 am – 2:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. What do you need to do? 1. Write your name down in our Roster, which is available at TL or email us. You can pick a time slot that suits you best. 2. All toys will need to be returned for stocktake. So please ensure that all toys are returned prior to Monday 6th or when you come along to do your allocated duty on the day. 3. During the Stocktake, we will clean toys by hand, check them and re-write labels so they are easy to borrow for the rest of the year. It is a condition of membership agreement that you participate in the Stocktake for 3 hours. If you are unable to make it on May 6, please let us know as soon as possible and we will arrange for you to help out at another time (maybe Sunday 5th May). Borrowing session will be open on the Monday evening (of the 6th) from 7:00pm for everyone to re-borrow toys. So please come back down then and borrow your toys for the fortnight. Good rewards • As an added incentive, we will draw a ‘door prize’ and one lucky volunteering member will win a fabulous prize on the day. • Any toys removed from the collection will be available for sale to members for a nominal fee on Monday Evening. If you can’t make the stocktake… We have a number of other activities that also need volunteers. The main ones being: – Borrowing Session: Monday 6th May (7:00-8:30pm) – Taralye Market Day: one Saturday in August (TBC)
